{"id":40709,"date":"2020-04-08T16:37:31","date_gmt":"2020-04-08T15:37:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pan-african-music.com\/soulful-singer-moonga-k-in-search-of-infinity-with-heartbeat-8-video\/"},"modified":"2020-05-10T16:36:49","modified_gmt":"2020-05-10T15:36:49","slug":"moonga-k-heartbeat-8-a-visual-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pan-african-music.com\/en\/moonga-k-heartbeat-8-a-visual-video\/","title":{"rendered":"Soulful singer Moonga K. in search of infinity with &#8220;heartbeat 8&#8221; video"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4 class=\"pam-featured-content\" ><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-39838 pam-featured-content\"  src=\"https:\/\/pan-african-music.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/db985d7d-moonga-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"5760\" height=\"3169\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/h4>\n<h4>Two years after his debut album <em>Wild Solace<\/em>, the Johannesburg based artist unveils a touching video clip for his single &#8220;hearbeat8&#8221;.\u00a0 The artist shared with us the work of the video clip.<\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Born into a family of Zambian musicians and raised in Botswana, the 23-year-old singer-songwriter Moonga K. has now found a home in Johannesburg.\u00a0Two years after his debut album the artist continues to explore a more adult contemporary sound with his writing, diving into a more personal territory of life throughout this new track. \u201c<i data-stringify-type=\"italic\">I&#8217;m inspired by nostalgia, and trying to bring the listener back to a place that makes them feel happy or reminiscent of a time where things were beautiful is my goal with writing and singing.<\/i>\u201d explained the 23-year-old singer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Released on April 3rd, the clip has two distinct parts where you can express yourself, says the singer: \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I love that there&#8217;s\u00a0two parts to this song as well, one where you can slow dance with your partner and another where you can pop, lock and drop it, and still be in love throughout those transitions.<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d Moonga K. wanted to make a unique and emotional clip in &#8220;heartbeat 8, a Visual&#8221;: \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I used \u201ca Visual\u201d because it&#8217;s not just a music video to me \u2013 it&#8217;s an emotion picture that I want to have people feel something when they watch<\/span><\/i><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> it\u00a0<i>\u2013<\/i>.
