People could get caught up in the day-to-day business of living and taking care of their families so much that they forget to take care of their skin. Your favorite celebrity most likely looks a mess right now.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tobi Lou understands this. The Nigerian-born Chicago rapper recently shot visuals for \u201cSkin Care Tutorial\u201d, his latest song in a string of releases that include \u201chot tub DREAM Machine\u201d and \u201chot tub TIME Machine\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On set of the video (directed by Tobi, Stay Neutral + Glassface), Tobi Lou takes us through his skincare program, with bright and cherry aesthetics melding into the song\u2019s upbeat sound, one Lou\u2019s become known for. It\u2019s refreshing to see an artist sing\u00a0<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cif the world gonna end, (I\u2019m) still taking care of my skin\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Throughout the song, and as shown in its video, Tobi Lou is attentive to his body, and wants to emulate the remarkable skincare of a youngish 40+ person \u201clike Pharrell\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In all, \u201cSkin Care Tutorial\u201d is a timely song from an artist who loves skincare, an often forgotten (but definitely important) part of our reality right now.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tobi Lou, who has b<span style=\"color: #333333;\">een\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><a style=\"color: #333333;\" href=\"https:\/\/m.chicagoreader.com\/chicago\/rapper-singer-tobi-lou-left-chicago-to-become-one-of-its-best-new-hopes\/Content?oid=59861071\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">described<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0as \u201cone of the most colorful and fluid rapper-singers to emerge from Chicagoland\u201d was born in Nigeria, moving with his family to Chicago, Illinois, when he was only two. Since 2018, when he released a couple of EPs and his debut album in August 2019, Tobi Lou has been intent on shaping his own sound, and not being compared with some other Chicago artists, popular amongst them Chance the Rapper.
