He also put out \u2018There They Go&#8217; music video, extract from upcoming album.<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nasty C has signed an exclusive deal with Def Jam Recordings. According to&nbsp;<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Billboard<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, this is through a joint venture with Universal Music Africa, who\u2019ve snapped up numerous African musicians \u2013 from Toofan to Sauti Sol \u2013 in the past two years.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Filmed in Nasty C\u2019s Durban hometown, the visuals of \u201cThere They Go\u201d, sees the 23-year-old rapper cast in the light of the kid who\u2019s made it, and he eagerly drives this narrative with lyrics which spell out his hard work and success. Produced by Cxdy, it\u2019s been said that \u201cThere They Go\u201d will feature on Nasty\u2019s forthcoming album, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Zulu Man With Some Power<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which will be the rapper\u2019s third studio album, after <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bad Hair <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(2016) and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strings and Blings <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(2018).&nbsp;<\/span><br \/>\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/AOb2-ZTaG8k\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThere They Go,\u201d therefore, becomes the first page of a new chapter for Nasty, who\u2019s seen his stock rise globally after his stellar rap performances that has seen him gain admirers like French Montana, Sway Calloway, and veteran rapper T.I.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The rapper, born Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo, has also been the number one most-streamed South African artist on Apple Music for four years consecutively. Thus, it\u2019s only natural such a global powerhouse would want to ally with an artist of his caliber. Announcing the signing, Def Jam Recordings interim chairman\/CEO Jeff Harleston said that <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cNasty C is a unique and forward-thinking artist who is at the forefront of a new generation of rappers emerging from Africa.
