Based in South London, the CXLI brothers (pronounced Cali) bring their natural influences for dembow, reggaeton and dancehall to the service of modern electronic music made for clubs. The two are co-founders of the Colombian\/Nigerian collective Baile Ij\u00f3, authors of a regular show on Voices Radio and organize regular alternative parties in the UK capital, with Afro-Latin rhythms as their common denominator. With Colombian roots, CXLI inject their Afro-Latin heritage into productions that are both dirty and polished, like their EP released this year on Love in the Endz. Luna Llena<\/a><\/em>, a literal translation of full moon in Spanish, is a four-track reflection of their musical direction, unveiled here in an extended version in a set that oscillates between afro-house, baile funk, batida and Latin music in the broadest sense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
