Depuis 2012, il est \u00e0 la fois t\u00e9moin et acteur de l\u2019explosion de la sous-culture tropical bass en Am\u00e9rique latine. Aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s d\u2019artistes comme Dengue Dengue Dengue, Lukro, Deltatron ou Sonidos Profundos il contribuait \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation de cette sc\u00e8ne underground dans les f\u00eates \u00ab\u00a0Toma\u00a0\u00bb, o\u00f9 se t\u00e9lescopaient cumbia et dubstep. Son d\u00e9sir d\u2019exp\u00e9rimenter est n\u00e9 de la d\u00e9couverte du classique de la cumbia p\u00e9ruvienne \u00ab\u00a0El Milagro Verde\u00a0\u00bb de Los Mirlos. Depuis ce moment, QECHUABOi s\u2019est arm\u00e9 de bo\u00eetes \u00e0 rythmes et samplers pour innover, m\u00ealant la cumbia chicha des ann\u00e9es 70, les rythmes and\u00e9ens et amazoniens avec les textures de la musique \u00e9lectronique globale. Connu pour l\u2019\u00e9nergie qu\u2019il d\u00e9gage en live, il collabore sans limite avec des artistes, nourrissant sa propre musique d\u2019influences hip-hop, footwork, dembow, et musique africaine. Depuis Madrid, sa nouvelle ville, il sort r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement des EPs pour des labels comme Terror Negro, Matraca, Regional ou Radio Chiguiro, et nous partage aujourd\u2019hui la source absolue de sa raison d\u2019\u00eatre en tant qu\u2019artiste.<\/p>\n\n<p><em>\u00ab\u00a0Ceci n&#8217;est pas un DJ set. C&#8217;est une s\u00e9lection de ce qui me fait danser, ressentir et r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir sur ma culture. C&#8217;est comme une compilation qui rend hommage aux racines ancestrales de l&#8217;\u00eatre humain et aux rythmes persans et afro-p\u00e9ruviens, qui nous servent d&#8217;inspiration aujourd\u2019hui pour transposer l&#8217;origine analogique des rythmes aux dancefloors les plus agit\u00e9s.
