Festival in the city of Utrecht is back. And once again, versatility is in the spotlight with people ranging from electro-experimental, hip hop, jazz, global sound and more. All this takes place on an impressive line-up with more than 100 artists and also features stages curated by artists. It\u2019s a hallmark of the festival that invites each year trailblazing creatives to curate their own dedicated programs, highlighting fellow like-minded artists and those that have inspired them. This year&#8217;s curators are Heba Kadry, Nala Sinephro, Jasper Marsalis\u00a0and Stereolab. Let us give you a short overview of their invitees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Heba Kadry, a mastering engineer born in Egypt and currently based in Brooklyn, invites (non exhaustive list) Tunisian producer &amp; DJ <meta charset=\"utf-8\"><a href=\"https:\/\/pan-african-music.com\/en\/tag\/deena-abdelwahed\/\">Deena Abdelwahed<\/a> presenting her new album <em>Jbal Rrsas, a <\/em>novel audiovisual performance by Egyptian sound artist <meta charset=\"utf-8\"><a href=\"https:\/\/pan-african-music.com\/tag\/zuli\/\">ZULI<\/a> in collaboration with Omar El Sadek; and Kamilya Jubran, one of the most revered artists in the experimental and alternative Arabic music scene.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Deena Abdelwahed - Insaniyti (Official Video)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/KY7LGI3HGJU?feature=oembed&#038;autoplay=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The Caribbean-Belgian composer, producer, and musician Nala Sinephro presents performances by French multidisciplinary artist and producer Crystallmess; the sonic imaginings of Kenyan composer and sound artist <meta charset=\"utf-8\"><a href=\"https:\/\/pan-african-music.com\/en\/tag\/nyokabi-kariuki\/\">Nyokabi Kari\u0169ki<\/a>, and Nok Cultural Ensemble &#8211; the new collective of Nigerian-British musician Edward Wakili- Hick (Sons of Kemet, Steam Down, and Kokoroko).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As for Jasper Marsalis, he invites O Ghett\u00e3o, the new supergroup of Lisbon label Principe with it\u2019s stars <a href=\"https:\/\/pan-african-music.com\/en\/tag\/dj-nigga-fox\/\">DJ Nigga Fox<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/pan-african-music.com\/en\/tag\/dj-danifox\/\">DJ Danifox<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/pan-african-music.com\/tag\/dj-firmeza\/\">DJ Firmeza<\/a>, and multidisciplinary artist Ebun Sodipo, who makes work for those who will come after: the Black trans people of the future.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anglo-French avant-pop group Stereola invites Nigerien Tuareg musician <meta charset=\"utf-8\"><a href=\"https:\/\/pan-african-music.com\/en\/tag\/bombino\/\">Bombino<\/a> and free jazz group Irreversible Entanglements, fronted by former Le Guess Who? curator <meta charset=\"utf-8\"><a href=\"https:\/\/pan-african-music.com\/en\/tag\/moor-mother\/\">Moor Mother<\/a>. And that\u2019s just a brief extract of the curators and the invitees !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The festival also shares a part of the general line-up of the festival. For a total of 84 artists !
