Wulffluw XCIV believes in music as a tool to communicate and bring people together, a language that makes a mockery of geographical boundaries and cultural differences. Experimenting with communities around the world, the Russian musician reflects sounds from elsewhere in the mirror of new technologies, offering a sound that is often brutal with abrasive textures. Following his residency at Nyege Nyege<\/a> Studios in Kampala in 2019, Wulffluw XCIV became the first artist outside of Africa to sign to Hakuna Kulala. In the spirit of the sub-label, he delivered Ngoma Injection<\/a><\/em>, a physical and cerebral album that plays with emotions, halfway between an outlet and a pessimistic vision of the future. In this contemporary vision of dance music also shared by the following EP Hyperemia, the sound crusher mixes industrial techno, drum’n bass and breakcore with dembow, gqom, dancehall or kuduro beats. An exercise that he repeats in this PAM Club, expressing his rage in a context where his country calls on its soldiers in a war that is not theirs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “This collection of sounds has become very special to me since I started recording it.
