Crayon, Ayra Starr, Ladipoe, Magixx &amp; Boy Spyce<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Mavin\u2019s tenth anniversary culminated in the release of \u201cOverdose\u201d featuring two of the label\u2019s seasoned acts &#8211; Crayon &amp; <a href=\"https:\/\/pan-african-music.com\/en\/tag\/ladipoe\/\">Ladipoe<\/a> and its newer talents &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/pan-african-music.com\/en\/tag\/ayra-starr\/\">Ayra Starr<\/a>, Magixx, &amp; Boy Spyce. \u201cOverdose\u201d, a record made for lovers in the \u2018breakfast\u2019 climate, marks an evolution of the label\u2019s roster, inciting a hint of nostalgia for the \u2018Dorobucci\u2019, and \u2018Adaobi\u2019 sweep in 2014. The song\u2019s climax would be the resort to \u2018Igbo and Shayo\u2019 <em>(colloquially meaning alcohol and weed) <\/em>for escapism. Asake sings about having mixed feelings towards being lustfully desired by the opposite sex, among other things there are to like about him. She enlists Chike for the Deeyasso-produced duet that has couples and hopeless romantics swooning. Here, Dunnie references viral pop culture parlance &#8211; \u201cdone with the streets\u201d, to make a soulful delivery about her biggest win yet &#8211; bagging a significant other. \u201c<em>Chike came to mind immediately when the melody hit me and getting him to do this with me was as easy as it was making the song,<\/em>\u201d she says about her chemistry with the \u201cRunning\u201d singer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Slymkrez - Different (feat. In fact, everything about the composition of this singular track is different,<\/em>\u201d he says. It has become a popular record in Nigeria and catapulted Lade to higher realms. \u201c<em>It was intentional and personal because that&#8217;s where I\u2019m at right now.
