It follows <em>Khonnar<\/em>, Deena\u2019s latest album dropped back in 2018.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>On the one hand, an producer with a passion for bass music signed with French label <a href=\"https:\/\/infine-music.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Infin\u00e9<\/a>. On the other hand, an electronic noise composer who came from the Tunisian collectives World Full of Bass and Arabstazy<em>\u2026 <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/basile3.bandcamp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Basile3<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/pan-african-music.com\/deena-abdelwahed-interview\/\">Deena Abdewahed<\/a> have worked together in the studio between December and March to compose <em>Free Radicals, <\/em>a two-person EP which will be released on June 10th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<em>Deena and I have been spending time together since 2015 or 2016\u201d, <\/em>Basile told us. \u201c<em>When I signed a contract with InFin\u00e9, she was already there. I remember that in order to introduce me to the label, I was asked to remix Deena. This year, we wanted to work on something together.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<iframe style=\"border: 0; width: 100%; height: 120px;\" src=\"https:\/\/bandcamp.com\/EmbeddedPlayer\/album=993872746\/size=large\/bgcol=ffffff\/linkcol=0687f5\/tracklist=false\/artwork=small\/transparent=true\/\" seamless=\"\" loading=\"lazy\"><a href=\"https:\/\/deenabdelwahed.bandcamp.com\/album\/free-radicals\">Free Radicals by Deena Abdelwahed x Basile3<\/a><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Dark on \u201cAlpha GPC\u201d, overflowing with unhinged bass on \u201cNiacinamide\u201d, cerebral with the hit single \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=hmvqnqNKKBU\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=hmvqnqNKKBU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hyaluron<\/a>\u201d&#8230; In just three titles, Deena and Basile have managed to establish a musical framework between shadow and light: \u201c<em>Lately, I haven\u2019t really been writing for the club but Deena does it in a far more intuitive way. She is the one who brought me back towards the dancefloor. With Deena, we share a commun referential between the UK, grime and the music of <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/pan-african-music.com\/fatima-al-qadiri-medieval-femme\/\"><em>Fatima Al Qadiri<\/em><\/a><em>.\u201d <\/em>If Basile compositions shine, Deena expresses herself through dark and abrupt constructions. However:<em> \u201cwe managed to find a balance between a dark approach and a more straightforward sound.
