{"id":102239,"date":"2022-03-21T11:42:56","date_gmt":"2022-03-21T10:42:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pan-african-music.com\/?p=102239"},"modified":"2022-03-21T11:43:02","modified_gmt":"2022-03-21T10:43:02","slug":"jason-tamba-gethsemane","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pan-african-music.com\/en\/jason-tamba-gethsemane\/","title":{"rendered":"Jason Tamba goes solo on &#8220;Gethsemane&#8221; with album on the way"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Congolese musician and former member of Afro Fiesta takes his world renowned talents solo with a single announcing his debut album <em>Don\u2019t Give Up<\/em>.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Born in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Jason Tamba, a self-taught musician, has been playing guitar since age seven, when he made his own instrument out of wood and four strings.<strong> <\/strong>It was there that he became a singer, songwriter and guitarist for the Afro\/Latin\/reggae group, Afro Fiesta, who are widely regarded as innovators fusing elements of Afro-jazz, Kwasa-Kwasa, Makossa and hints of Latin music.
