From Trinidad & Tobago, Calypso Rose has been the undisputed Queen of Calypso for more than 40 years. After having produced 30 albums and composed 800 songs, she’s back with So Calypso!, her new album available the April 18th.
First single ‘Calypso Blues’ is a Nat King Cole cover. The original song was composed in 1949 by american crooner and civil rights activist. The music video is inspired by 1955 tv show “The Rythm & Blues Revue” and questions the american model. Watch it above.
