Blitz The Ambassador releases first single from his movie's soundtrack

The Burial Of Kojo, Samuel “Blitz” Bazawule’s movie will be out on Netflix on March 31st. In the meantime, he just issued “Fire” feat Akan, a first single from the soundtrack.

Best known as a rapper, Ghana native Blitz The Ambassador shows us another aspect of his talent as a movie director.

After a crowdfunding campaign that raised 78.000 dollars, the movie will be screened in several festivals across the world and broadcasted on Netflix in the USA. The story follows the tempestuous relationship between two brothers, Kojo and Kwabena, and addresses topics such as rivalry between siblings, love and jealousy.

Blitz just unveiled a single taken from the soundtrack of the movie, “Fire” featuring fellow Ghanaian artist Akan. The beat produced by Optiks relies on a heavy and heady brass ensemble, on which both rappers lay their flow, first in english and then in Akan – a ghanaian language.

Order “Fire” feat Akan on Bandcamp.
