Nairobi-based “Blinky” Bill Sellanga is a singer-songwriter, beat maker, producer and one fourth of Kenyan art and music collective, Just a Band. He is an alumnus of The Red Bull Music Academy, One Beat Music as well as a TED Fellow.
On his latest track “Showdown”, Blinky Bill features MVROE of EA Wave and Kiwango of Cosmic Homies. This is an hypnotic track that pairs traditional Kenyan percussion with a modern beat melted with bass synths.
The track is off Blinky’s “Everyone’s Just Winging It And Other Fly Tales” album set for release on 19th October 2018. It will feature collaborations with the likes of Petite Noir, Sampa the Great among others.
